Method
The theoretical approach
Learning a language is a holistic activity, based on grammatical rules and skills such as listening, speaking, reading and writing.
This theory developed the method of “communicative teaching”.
The implementation of this theory in teaching practice required teaching materials, and publishers published a relatively large number of textbooks.
Of great importance in foreign language teaching is the intercultural component. This is based on the understanding that the language is used as a means of communication during all manner social contacts.
Conflicts, self isolation and exclusion can occur if there are misunderstandings between the locals and foreigners in their social contacts or if either side does not understand the cultural identity of the other.
